The Art of the Summer Drive
August 17, 2026 · Amedeo Pennacchi
When Giorgio sent me these photos from Italy, I loved them immediately.
Not simply because he was wearing our Byron Shirt, but because the photos felt personal. Giorgio has a real passion for his classic Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray, and you can tell that this isn't just a beautiful car he happens to own. It's something he genuinely loves.
So I wanted to know a little more about the man behind the wheel.
Giorgio, what do you love so much about your Corvette?
"There is something special about classic cars. The sound, the feeling of driving them, the details, they have a personality that modern cars sometimes struggle to replicate. For me, taking my Corvette out isn't simply about getting somewhere. The drive itself is part of the experience."
And perhaps that's why these photos felt so A.M.E. to me.
An Italian summer, an open-top classic car, the countryside and the Byron Shirt. Nothing feels overly styled or staged. It's simply Giorgio enjoying something he loves, wearing something that feels like him.
And why the Byron?
"I love the natural cotton fabric. It's so breathable and perfect for spring and summer weather, and I love the unique pattern of the shirt.
What I find particularly special are the little imperfections that tell the story of someone making it by hand. The fit is great, relaxed but distinctive, and the shirt has so much character.
It feels iconic.
Pair it with shorts, roll up the sleeves and you're ready.
I wear it everywhere. It's truly become one of my favourite pieces."

For a drive through the Italian countryside, lunch somewhere along the way, an afternoon by the sea or an evening aperitivo, the Byron captures our idea of effortless Italian summer style and men's resortwear.
There is something about Giorgio's approach that I particularly love: the individuality, the details and the idea that the things we choose should have a little personality.
For me, this is what Adventure Meets Elegance was always supposed to look like.
Not a perfectly staged campaign. Not another cold, mass-produced shirt.
Just real people, wearing A.M.E. while doing the things they love.
